On April 12th, 2025, the Yale Quantum Institute brought YQuantum into World Quantum Year, continuing its legacy of excellence in bringing the brightest quantum minds to solve some of the industry’s most pressing problems.
YQuantum 2025 fielded 700 registrants from 29 countries, featuring students from 104 universities around the world. Out of the registrants, the attendees formed 79 teams to work on 9 challenges set by industry sponsors.
The two-day schedule blended workshops and lab tours with networking opportunities for the participants, allowing them to work on their projects while benefiting from Yale’s pioneering facilities in quantum information science and quantum engineering.
